Sendero Real has a bold but soft flavor with a sweet fragrance and a hint of dry fruits and chocolate. It is a high quality coffee graded as a Specialty coffee based on SCA grading (Specialty Coffee Association). This score is not just a number, it’s the outcome of combining passion, inclusion, hard work and continuous improvement.
Most of the production is performed by members of the Cortes family, from cultivating, harvesting, washing, drying, milling, polishing, sorting, grading and storage, making sure they involve neighbors and locals as much as possible. The supervision of the process is performed by family member Cesar Cortes, who is an agricultural engineer and is always looking for ways to improve each step, optimizing natural resources and lowering the environmental impact.
